Full Arch Dental Implants

Full arch dental implants are a type of tooth replacement option that can be used to replace an entire arch of teeth, either in the upper or lower jaw. This treatment option provides a stable foundation for many artificial teeth with minimal surgical intervention. While single-tooth implants are placed using one implant for each tooth, full-arch implants consist of an entire prosthetic arch secured by only four implants. This treatment option can be used for patients who have deteriorating teeth along a complete arch, or those who are looking to replace their dentures with a more permanent solution.

Full arch dental implants are a great way to restore your smile and improve your oral health. If you are considering this treatment option, be sure to consult with our team of experts to see if you are a candidate. We will create a personalized treatment plan to ensure that you receive the best possible care.

Dentures

Dentures are custom-made prosthetic appliances designed to restore the smile following tooth loss. Losing teeth can prove to be a challenging experience, and not just for cosmetic reasons.  Without teeth, it can become difficult to eat certain foods and even speak clearly.  Dentures offer a solution by replacing missing teeth and restoring the function of the mouth.

There are two main types of dentures that we offer in our office: complete and partial.

  • Complete dentures are used when all the natural teeth have been lost. These appliances are made from a polymer base and porcelain teeth. Held in place by either suction or dental adhesive, the full prosthetic not only restores the bite function but also provides support for the lips and cheeks.
  • Partial dentures are for patients who have lost some, but not all, of their natural teeth. These devices typically consist of a metal framework with artificial teeth attached. Partial dentures are usually held in place by clasps that attach to the natural teeth.

At our office, we understand how important it is for our patients to have a healthy and functional smile. We are proud to offer high-quality dentures that can provide our patients with beauty, function, and, most importantly, a sense of comfort and normalcy following tooth loss.

Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a type of sleep disorder in which you experience pauses in breathing while you rest. These pauses can last for several seconds and may happen throughout the entire sleep cycle. Sleep apnea can lead to serious health complications, including high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke.

There are different types of sleep apnea, but the most common type is obstructive sleep apnea. This happens when your airway becomes blocked while you sleep. The blockage is usually caused by the tongue and throat muscles becoming relaxed and causing the airflow passage to become compromised.

The most common symptom of sleep apnea is snoring. Other symptoms include:

  • Pauses in breathing during sleep
  • Waking up feeling short of breath
  • Headaches in the morning
  • Daytime fatigue or drowsiness
  • Difficulty concentrating during the day
  • Irritability

At our practice, we provide an oral appliance that can help you manage your sleep apnea. This appliance is worn at night and maintains the position of your tongue and lower jaw, preventing airway blockage and ensuring you receive a continuous flow of oxygen.

If you think you might have sleep apnea, we encourage you to visit your doctor or come in for a consultation. From there, our team will ensure you receive quality treatment that will restore your quality of life!
